Our focus is on helping Auditors, Accountants, Finance Officers with Control functions as well as Information Systems professionals to adapt to the rapidly evolving information technologies. Our Leadership
Dr. Martin Ikpehai is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Computer Audit Control and Security (CACS) Associates LTD, Lagos, Nigeria, one of the indigenous Information Technology Consulting, Security and Audit firms in Nigeria. Formerly the Senior Financial Management Specialist / Financial Advisor (a Consultant Staff), that worked on the implementation of the Rivers State Government (SAP ERP-based) Integrated Financial Management Information System (SIFMIS). Formerly the acting SIFMIS Coordinator for the Rivers State Government. Formerly the Associate Director and Head of Information Technology Risk and Assurance of Ernst & Young, Nigeria. Martin also worked as a Principal Consultant with EDP Audit & Security Associates, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria.
Martin is a highly acclaimed Senior Executive with a track record of excellence in areas of Financial Management, Information Technology Audit Consulting, Business advisory, fraud investigation / dispute services, supported by strength in sales, marketing, public relations / communications, and business administration. A Visionary change agent who builds and leads motivated teams to drive organizational success within diverse industries and sectors across domestic, international, and emerging markets, and in the face of challenging economic conditions.
Martin has managed teams delivering Financial Accounting Information Technology (FAIT) Audits, Financial Audit Support, fraud investigation and dispute service engagements that led to the discovering of financial irregularities. Major responsibilities in these engagements included discussing and agreeing the objectives and scope with the clients, development of realistic audit work plans, allocation of manpower and material resources to the engagement, team supervision and development and presentation audit reports to client management.
He has been managing teams delivering IT system implementation engagements and has been involved in large systems implementation projects for different clients in both public and private sectors within an Oracle Implementation, SAP ERP implementation, Sage ERP implementation.
Martin is also an Audit Command Language (ACL) Certified Data Analyst and has implemented the Audit Command Language (ACL) Computer Assisted Audit Technique for fraud detection, revenue assurance, and to test the effectiveness internal control design for organisations and identifying control weaknesses / failures for management attention.Carried out Information Technology Due Diligence reviews to support pre-acquisition / pre-merger business valuation.
